We have played war often in childhood. Sometimes we used close order to confront boys from the next street. We "fired" two or three "volleys" and then charged their extended order. After melee combat we healed our scratches, conversed with former "enemies" and laugh loudly. Golden years, wasn't they? Now I can see no children in the street. Almost all of them play their PC games or watch TV. It's boring, I dare to say.

You are so right! I was a child playing computer games and would have loves to stand in the line and "fight" instead, but noone was there. And where should we have played?
